Who Can Request Assistance?
The program is intended to support eligible seniors with qualifying home-repair and safety needs within the Foundation’s Greater Houston service area. Assistance depends on eligibility, urgency, available funding, project scope, geographic service capacity and available resources.
Request Senior Home Safety Assistance
If a senior household needs help with a qualifying repair or safety issue, submit a Request Assistance application with clear information about the condition and the household’s needs.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or service.
Safer Homes Support Independence
Our goal is to help create safer, more functional and more dignified home environments through lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes.
