Support for Veterans Who Need Critical Home Repairs
A home should provide safety, stability and dignity. When a plumbing problem, unsafe bathroom condition, minor structural issue or accessibility barrier cannot be addressed because professional repair services are financially out of reach, the problem can become more serious over time. Our Veteran Home Repair Program is designed to help eligible veterans address qualifying repair needs in the Greater Houston area.

How the Program Works
- Submit a Request – Complete the home-repair assistance application and provide information about the household and repair need.
- Eligibility Review – The Foundation reviews requests based on program requirements, urgency, funding, location and available resources.
- Property Assessment – Approved applicants may receive a property assessment to confirm the repair condition, project scope and safety priorities.
- Project Coordination – The Foundation coordinates materials, labor, volunteers, contractors, scheduling and project oversight.
- Repair Completion – Approved work is completed, documented and reviewed to confirm that the identified repair scope has been addressed.
